Default motor been sitting in garage questions...

my motor im getting ready to swap in has been setting in my garage for almost 4 years now covered. should i be worried about anything like seals, rings or what not?

By covered to you mean just a tarp over it or do you mean seran wrapped tight? If its just a tarp when you put it in rotate the engine over without spark plugs and no injector clips until you see the oil light come off or until you see oil pressure (if you have a gauge). After that i say your good to go.

If it was seran wrapped put some oil down the spark plug hole (thumble full) and rotate the motor by hand a few times then you should good to go.

it was covered with a tarp, then for a couple of months it had nothing on it, but it was still in garage
