i have a 1990 honda civic cx 1.5l when i first start it up it starts up great and when its running is runs great but when the car is at operating temp and when i shut it off it dosn't want to start agin and i have to let it cool down i replaced the Distributor with another used one so i am little bit puzzled here if anyone can help thanks.

 

^its the main relay IMO, same thing happened to me for about 6 months until I finially got pissed and did some research on this site. Replaced the main relay and its never happened again.

 

I had the same problem it is the main relay. Just replace it or take it to a shop that can fix it you shouldn't pay more than $20. Or you can leave your driver door always open so the main realy can cool down

 

ok thanks is there a name to the relay so i can get it i know where it is it just knowing what it's called thanks
