i just got a caliper kit for my front two calipers on my 88 crx and i was wondering if anyonehas done this before. Where do you begin? the kit came with two rubber seals and a metal ring that has a gap. any info would be appreciated thanks.

man that was so tedious it took me about 5 hours for the first caliper then 2 hours for the second. they had so much brake dust inside the calipers and the cleaning took so long as well as putting in the piston in. I used your method and cut a spray can it work fairly well i dont know how else i would have done it without using that method. after going through that i think i would have rathered just bought a new caliper =] they were only 23 dollars a peice. Anyways thanks for the help.

 

Yeah, like most car stuff, the first time is hard and tedious... After you get over the hump it gets easier every time.
