Default tie rod ball joint

while replacing my wheel bearing, I noticed that my tie rod boot was torn, and I have no clue how long it has been torn for. my question is, when I order a new tie rod, does it come with the boot already installed?

thanks

depends where you order it from. some places you can just order the boot itself. Ask the place you are buying from first.

how old are the balljoints on your car?

just a little advice, once you change out the tie-rod arm, your gonna need an alignment.
that being said you might as well replace all your balljoints and what not, to save on future headaches.
i ordered a complete kit off ebay from this guy http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...photo
i seen some go for cheapers, but this is the seller i always deal with, fast shipping and great customer service.

just a heads up

yes, a tie rod end always comes with the boots.

you can order the boots separately. but if the balljoint is already dried up then its likely toast.
