There are so many different variables that would dictate your MPG. It is nearly impossible to estimate haha.

Octane = detonation resistance. It will not improve your gas mileage.

Is there something special about the motor that you have to run 100? If not 92 will be just fine. As said above, the higher the octane the better "detonation resistance" not the higher the MPG.

When the news hits that the Saudis are looking for more places to drill but their current rig's production is falling, then the price will spike, lol.

woops, already happening

only gonna get worse...only gonna get worse.

or are youstock and think 100 octane will give you 500 more horse power?

No it's probbly due to what ever you are using in your motor makes it run 92 better.

Remember all gas has 4 oct varriance around.

Why are you pouring 100 into a stock ITR motor anyway?

Yea it would still be at a very low comp ratio, you could get away with 85 oct.

even 93 in most places is 10%. I'm curently helping run a car that'll be on 85% octane and it'll make my z28 look like a girl scout, it's not ethenol making gas bad....

lol, good luck finding it anywhere, just I read that in my owners book.

It can't be the gas, it's something else or you arn't recording milage correctly.

If anything that gas would be worse for you.

Are you aware that your engine isnt completely burning all the higher octane fuel?
Is the placebo increase in fuel economy worth the increase in price per gallon, or the higher emissions your car now emits?

Are you making the exact same trip driving the same way?

Read up on recording milage, its not just drive till shes on E = milage.

85 I don't know where to get, what model is your car if yours is a dx or std *cx* it should say it'll run on 85 least mine does.

Even the si didn't need 91.

what ever.. all i care about is how many km's i get on a tank of gas.. thats all that matters.. but you can get a ruff estimate using the size of your tank plus the amount of km's you drive. i get about 40miles to the gallon.

4 door dx. manuall really says 91 or higher.. its weird i know. maybe its cuz its canadian

And when the change will only be a 1-3 mpg off you won't see it using such a rough estimate.

I'm kinda shocked to hear the books up there say 91.

Not one time did any of my D motors see 91, 89 at best.
