Hi, I don't own an ITR, I have a Nissan Maxima, but I was at the ITR Expo at Gingerman yesterday, and needless to say, it was awesome. A few of my friends were racing, Ryan 97 ITR B-class, Mike S2k A-class, etc. Needless to say, it was a great time.

Anyhow, I was told by an ITR owner that Mazda Millenia wheels are very very light, and I noticed one ITR was using them on the track. I did some research and found out they are indeed only 11.5lbs. My roommate owns a Millenia and is willing to trade his 15" wheels for my 15" winter wheels.

My question is this, has anyone mounted drag slicks on their Millenia wheels? I have a set of 15x7" Kosei K1s which I'd intended to mount slicks on, but seeing as the Millenia wheels are 2 lbs lighter (11.5 vs 13.5 lbs) I was thinking of mounting slicks on them instead and just selling the K1s (they are unused, anyone interested hehe). The slim 6" width of the Millenia wheels is the only thing that worries me, but I've seen plenty of slicks mounted on stock steelies on lots of FWD cars, and I figure the stock steelies certainly are not any wider than 6", most likely even skinnier.

My other option is to use the K1s as drag wheels, and keep the Millenia wheels to use on the road course and mount A032Rs or perhaps Hoosier or Kumho slicks on them, but I digress.

So, has anyone mounted slicks on their Millenia wheels, and if so, what size?

205/50/15 A032Rs work nicely.
And I think they should be 6.5inch wheels if I'm not mistaken, but anyway, they work well.

According to wheelweights.net they are 15x6. I called tirerack and asked what the widest tire was that I could mount on a 15x6" Millenia wheel, and he didn't correct me and say "well they are actually 15x6.5" so I'm thinking they are 6". 6.5 would be great though!

I was more concerned about the drag slick sizing than road race tire sizing though
