Default crank work

im in the process of rebuilding my d16a6, and i wanted to send my crankshaft out to get micropolished. is there a company on honda-tech that offers these services at good prices? i tried looking through the performance forum but couldnt find anything.

I would suggest a local machine shop. They will be able to do it for you. It is VERY expensive to ship cranks.

Where are you at?

someone told me that the machine shop will also be able to tell what size bearings i will need to use, just from the crank. is this true? or will they need the rods and main bearing cap in order to do so?

it depends if they machine the main journals or line bore ur new rods out...they always mark the cran on the balencer it should say like 20/20 one for the mains and the other for the rod...they tell u standard oversize or undersize..
