you should get an alignement everytime you make an upgrade on you suspension. I usually do an alignement 2 times a year! If you don't have a camber kit they really can't adjust much except make everything line up. So you can have good tire wear!
But seriously, in all cases you rear will be in perfect condition it will be your front tires that will get eaten! All my rear tires have never shown much tire wear. Make sure you always rotate you tires every 10K. That is my rule of thumb.

Well that is very weird... Usually the front wear faster then the rears on fwd! You really need to get your car aligned... pronto!

I work for Discount Tire Co. (posting from a friends username), and we recommend rotating your tires every 6-8k to prevent any abnormal wear. Now, with the type of tire that most of us sport compact enthusiasts are running, it should be much less than that. Such low treadwear ratings will only speed any abnormal wear on your tires. Cupping and camber / toe wear only gets worse if you dont keep them rotated frequently.
Id say about every 3-4 at the ABSOLUTE most if youd like to keep your tires in tip-top shape.

I recommend rotating tires every however many miles are roughly 25 percent of their expected lifespan. So if you have the Kumho SPT, you might want to rotate them every 8-10K miles, but if you have the Azenis, you might want to rotate them every 3K miles.
It doesn't hurt to rotate them more often than that if you're doing it yourself or if you're taking the wheels off anyway (like if you're servicing the brakes or swapping to tires for the track), but if you're paying someone else just to rotate the tires, I wouldn't do it any more frequently than that.
