what mods are need for GSR back seats to fit CIVIC? (00 GSR to 99 CIVIC)
Ive seen in adds "minor modification" needed, just wanted to make sure nothing needs to be welded or something before I go buying them? I wanna put black leathers in my civic...
i was planning on doing that but i've heard that they don't look proper either once u install them since they weren't meant to be in there... i have seen some custom ones made that fit in perfectly but i suggest u search for civic si leather seats.. they are rare but im sure u culd find them.. check out my link and see how u think of them.. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2596317 , i haven't seen one civic around here wit these and people alwayz assume there gsr seats but there direct perfit installation.
I never actually never knew the Si made'em leather too....thanks I will look into it
the leather Si fronts look better than the GSR front seats too...nice G-ride

teg seats are 50/50 split, 96-00 civics are 60/40. if you could cut and reweld the pivot arm you could probably get them to fit. i don't know about widths and latching mechanisms though. although i have an eh2 with teg seats and a 96 civic, i could do some looking and measuring
nah I don't wanna weld anything anymore...too much hastle. A good fit is better.
I unfortunately did some mickey mousin for my aftermarket seats, with the weld and melted some part from the slider by axident...DERRRRRR!!!!
no more weldin 4 me
