removing pper and tie rod ball joints

removing pper and tie rod ball joints

I know how to remove the lower ball joint, but I cant seem to find any way without a tool to remov the upper and tie rod bal joints. can I use the hammer methods with those as well?

yes. same thing, jsut hammer the side of the balljoint.

I heard of a pickle fork. will that rip the boot or is there a way to use it without ripping the boot?

yes, you can use a pickle fork - will probably ruin the boots, but they are replacable real cheap - easiest to just hit the side of the knuckle with a hammer
