weird rattling noise from inside panels of rear..

Default weird rattling noise from inside panels of rear..

Am new to HT and own a 98 ex 1.6 (lookin for Si conv.), lowered on eibech springs, n riding on 5zigen 17s..i notice a rattling noise coming from the side panels of the back passenger and driver side..is something lose? or could it be something else? thanks

I can't help you with the rattle, but I can tell you that all '99-'00 Civic front ends are the same besides:
- Only the EX/Si coupes and SE sedans have painted trim stock.
- The Si has a different grill from other coupes.
- Coupes and hatches have a certain style grill and sedans have another style grill.
- Si has standard front lip, but it's optional on other trims.

Also, your car being a '98 means that you might have a color that was used on stock '99-'00 cars, meaning you have a chance at finding a front end that's the same color stock.

thanks for that info. I'll keep that in mind when finally deciding the conv.
