93 Accord Electrical
My 93 Accord is having issues. While driving it will shut off and check engine light comes on. It takes a couple of turn off - turn on for it to start again and then it is fine, till the next day it will do it again. I have listened for the main relay to close and hear it close. After it stalls it take a couple of times for the relay to close again. What if any signal is needed for the relay to close? Is the fuel pump getting weak, is there a fuel sending unit? Lost a little when it comes to electrical on the Accords. Love the car owned since new.
Does it happen in hot/warm weather? Problem maybe main relay...sounds like same prob i had on my '93 also...replaced main relay and everything is a-ok again...check the igniter also...that could be the culprit too if it's not the main relay

It has been happening when it is warm, did not drive in colder months. Did you have someone check it out for you, or did you just start replacing stuff? Maybe I'm thinking too much into it, but for a relay to close I would think that it would need to receive a signal from something in order for it to close. I have laid on the floor board and listened to the relay and you can hear it close. However sometimes it does sound as strong.
