Okay how about a HONDA EK9 CIVIC TYPE R HELICAL LSD ? Will this unit work in my EM1?

depends what expensive means to you. You will need to remove the tranny and break everything apart and change the diff. Can you do that?

nope can't do that and I don't want to mess anything up. So what is an average charge from a performance shop to do the install?
