P1890 on my Civic HX
Hi all,
Got P1890 on my 2002 Civic HX.
HX has a CVT. when i got it several months ago, i noticed a strong jerk whenever you accelerated. the dealer changed the transmission fluid (they said the CVT uses different fluid which obviously was replaced by regular fluid in the last service), and the problem was gone.
When i drove for more than 2 hours (i seldom drive for such a long time on this Civic), i noticed the transmission refused to upshift unless you put your feet away from the gas. then the check engine light came out. so i got the P1890.
Anyone has an idea? i appreciate.
