yes it was red to begin with and it has gotten painted blue soo i suppose im losing out there lol
look on the block it will say what motor you have and im not shure but i thing del sol si's have b16 im not shure though. as for suspension you will probobly want somthing good like a tein setup and some sway bars and **** like that but, if you dont know **** you really have no buisness doing it, learn some **** about your car before you try to start doing **** to it or your going to be doing it all over again when you do learn more or just be dissapointed with wasting your time and money dumb ****. just my opinion

....and that means what now?
I have seen more Single Cam builds that would smoke a GSR in a heartbeat. He obviously doesnt really know much, so telling him to just swap isnt very useful

To find out what motor you have, look in the corner of the block (right by the tranny housing) and you will see a letter followed by two numbers. (Ex: D16z6 or B16a3)

you got a sohc. the b16 didnt come over til 94 and there just called Del Sol VTEC. all del sol si are sohc. good luck w/ what ever you do to it.
you have a D16Z6 if its stock, and YOU will have do YOUR own research for suspension stuff. The search button is in red in the right hand corner.
Good luck.
Good luck.
Also to save yourself some money in the long run I recommend picking up a helms manual for your car. It is what the dealerships use as there shop manuals.
Suspension/brakes should be top priority if you want a better handling car.
Your stock brakes will be fine but make sure the rotors are good and at least pick up some decent brake pads.
No autozone ****.
You could use alot of oem parts on your car, like gsr sway bars and rear disc brakes. Get some kyb agx adj. struts and some good springs. Tein, Neuspeed etc.
Unless you want it slammed to the ground then you are on your own.
And do us all a favor and stay away from ebay parts. Good parts are not that cheap.

ok so i checked this thing out and i have the D16z6 is that a good thing or a bad thing
and what is the potential of that motor with stock internals and without stock internals ?
also my car has 160k miles but it runs really strong is there anything specific i should be checking or replacing at this point in the engines life
