Default Another timing belt situation.....

So based off the last thread, I didnt want to jack his... so I made my own. Mine flexs alot more......? Im guessing it just needs to be tightend? Also it rubs when it idles sometimes too...Read up a little on how to tighten it, just curious if its all that simple....

This is the main area it rubs....

Have you cheked your tensioner? From what I can remember, the last time I changed my belt, mine wasn't too far off from that.

Same exact thing to the was happening to me. If you try to tighten it and it wont stay tight, you need a new belt. The same thing happened to me on my GSR, and when my shop got the belt off it was stretched 2 full inches! Had it replaced with an OEM belt, and runs perfect!
