Default Intermittent CEL 22 and CEL 1

Yesterday I drove to Winston Salem which is about an hour away and when I got there in the city I was just cruising and all of a sudden I had a check engine light so before I stopped I did a pull to see if vtec was engaging. And it wasn't and sure enough I stop jump the connector and get code 1 and code 22. So I shut the car off for about 2 min while I was getting gas, I get back in a continue to my friends and vtec works now and no cel. Same thing happened to me today. I mean I know if I just shut the car off for a few min and start it back up I won't have any problems I just don't like goofy problems like that. While back I had to drive my car with my TPS unplugged for about 3weeks until I could get the TPS problem fixed. I was pretty much running for ECT and MAP inputs, and it was a little rich, As soon as I got the TPS fixed I threw a code 1 for o2 sensor. So I guess what I am trying to ask is would the o2 being defective cause the code 22? I have a spare o2 I can put in but I live in an apartment complex. Thanks for reading and bump if you veiw please!

Footnotes: Will a faulty o2 sensor ( code 1 ) cause a code 22 (vtec) since it is intermittent?

code 22 could be because you might be low on oil. if it gets a little low then the vtec pressure valve wont open. not sure how to fix the o2 sensor one other than replacing it. good luck

It is an intermittent problem that has only occured twice, in the past week. Oil is not the problem, and I really don't believe that vtec pressure switch is fauly either, I think it has something to do with the o2.
