But Sheng's car had real seats (Recaro's), Type R engine. Its wasn't Boosted!! It WAS a hatch back (we all know there the best ) Plus his car was "famous" Good Luck selling your car for $25k

shengs car obviously was missing alot because the new owner, MIGUEL, has put a boat load of money into it.

Lets see when miguel got the car is was what ???
a 1999 Hatchback with a carbon hood, spoon mirrors, spoon wheels, ctr exhaust, R motor, CTr wing, Si front end, R rear lip and Recaros. ohh my bad drum brakes.... Sure it was a super duper innovation for its time, and no bad mouthing shengs style, as he is famous because of the things he's done with cars and products.

anyways, if you havent noticed my buddy miguel has put every ounce of everything into that car since its purchase, and he turned his $22k Hatch into what a $35,000+ civic? Cause everyone knows he has modded the hell out of it.

also, im not looking to RECEIVE $25k for my car (its the asking price), im looking to sell it near what its worth, and if u see the list, it has more than that put into it. It is an Si...that just happens to be white, it just happens to be in the July issue of super street (may not be a big accomplisment for famous people) and its more than worth what I am asking for it.

Oh and yes......I KNOW hatches are the best, i had 3 of them.

Ps. im not trying to hate, im just telling you a little be about my un-famous cars and myself , i am very open to opinions....

 

the motor can easily handle up to 19-20psi, without flinching, on race gas of course. The numbers are high, i run 10-12psi on the daily, 14-15 when someone pisses me off....and if for some odd reason in hell someone is anywhere near me when im done pressing the gas.....ill be sure to hit the nitrous which i have never had to do. We did it on the dyno, that's how i got the numbers like that. I've never had to use it on the street.

Oh damit I don't think the Autometer In-Dash Dual Pod will fit on my 01 gsr dash. What about the Skunk2 Cam Gears? Fit on my gsr? What color are they any wears and how many miles on it. Another thing I be happy to take those Volk Center cap from you if they fit on my 16" TE-37.

I dont want to get on this guys ******* but man this is the tightest SIvic ive ever seen it show and go man if I had the money to buy this car I would come on the Si alone is still 15000 in the dealer and all the mods a built engine , turbo, nos and a av system and a whole bunch of other ish god im saying this car is a deal and this is the car that inspired me to go turbo and paint my car white (not to be a jock or anything)but damn this car is super tight if it was on a scale from 1-10 ill have to choose 20.

I have seen shengs car in person and its super clean. Nothing was missing off the car that was not advertised in the price. And the car runs 13.4's currently. I hate when people bring other people's odds and ends to make them look bad.

i never said that, someone attempt to prove some sort of BS, for some odd reason, shengs car wasnt MISSING anything from the advertised price, etc...
I've owned my share of hatches, as u can see above in the links, i know what things cost and what they dont, hell i've been through 4 of them already.
Basically what this amounts to is people speaking who obviously dont know how to put a price on peoples hard work and investments, of course, people dont get what they ask for, but a starting point must be found. Sheng's car was beautiful, but not complete, no car is. MIne is not. Though it made it to the pages of super street, is it done NO, am i asking too much for it, NO....Anyone can sit and add up the parts and value of the car, it will surely exceed even the asking price, this is not even including labor that is put into a car. But like i said, im not looking to make money either. Guess some people have a true appreciation for things, and some dont. Also comparing a JDM hatchie to a COUPe...well no comments

About all i did was give BIG Ups to both Sheng and Miguel (the new owner), however, someone had to bring it into the post.
