h22 vtec head on h23 block practical?

got the head and the car with h23a1 looking to make the head work heard something about block pin alignment or oil journalk differences? looking for any answers

sorry was originally a vw guy bought this lude for a good deal and now love it just tryin to get it going

in eclipses you can remove the balance shafts is that possible in the h23?
