real desmond or fake?

 

fake...becuz the real desmonds...dont have the universal 4 lug

 

Looks like a rota with the Regamaster stickers to me

 

theyre definately fake

 

tell him to take a picture of it w/ his screen name written on a piece of paper and on a scale and also tell him to take pics same way but of the RUSSIA stamped on the back of the hub.

15x6.5 weighs 8.6lbs and 15x7 weighs 9.2lbs

and 4 lug universal?...umm yeah ..sure

and i am not saying that those are real regas or not cuz honestly i have no idea.

heres, how you can find out, ask him to take a picture of where it says russia on them. if he says something along the lines, i dont have the camera anymore....theyre fake

That's not universal 4-lug at all.

Ask ATS*Mark... he could probably smell the wheels and tell you if they were real or fake.

i believe they are rota because the jwl and via are on the spokes...

is almost near impossible just telling by the pic! I owned a set of real regamasters and I put them next to slipstreams and well exactly the same! and a buddy of mine put his spoon wheels next to both of our's and they all look identical! other than color, sticker's and size diference, but all can be answered by the rear of the rim russia is the answer!

Desmond's have those stamps as well. They're stamps for Japanese wheel inspection. You need those to pass certification with aftermarket wheels.

i know about the stamps. but you are right, they are in the same locations on both the rotas and desmonds. guess the only for sure way is the weight.

Heres a pic of real ones from a reputable shop. Even the postioning of the lug pattern and vs holes are identical.

Im going to take a guess and say they're fake. Look at the lip on the ones the op posted and the ones ek da car posted. The Op's pics have "steps" in the lip while the other ones dont. I dont know if those are the same size wheels or if that would even make a difference in how the lips would look.

 

if the box that they came in says Rota then there fake , at least you didnt get 15in daytons!!!!

 

also one think to look at is also the evo sticker itself if you look at the real ones particularly the the "O" theres stroke meaning there a white line that runs on the outside of the letter where as yours there is none meaning when they made a copy of the sticker in illustrator they forgot to add that little detail..

yup their fake they have the slipstream lip ! and the real evos have a smooth curved lip
