hey guys i got a civic si, 99. its pretty much stock just Intake and Exhaust and some toyo tires (pos). i just wanna know whats a good rpm to launch in, and also some tips when trying to get a good launch.

There is not one set RPM. Every car/driver/track/tires/ect is different. Just go practice at the track.

 

yea i know there isnt a exact rpm, but like i just wanna know is like 6 too high?

No, you still don't understand. Some tracks 3k is too high, some tracks 6k isn't enough. Some tires hook better than some, track temps, VHT, tire pressure, car, suspension, clutch, mods, all kinds of things factor in.

For the last time, take the car to the track and practice! You'll find out on the first launch if 6k is too high.
