Ok so in a few weeks i have to pull out the gearbox cause the input shaft bearing is fucked.

Ive being told i should replace these things at the same time.
-Clutch
-Throwout bearing
-Thrust bearing

Is there anything else i should do/replace while everything is out?

Mainshaft seal under the isb.

Check all the bearings for noise and rough/notchy feel. Check syncro and shift fork clearances. Check shift forks for cracks, breaks and bends.

 

I just did this last weekend. The ISB (mainshaft clutch housing bearing is what Helm's calls it) was bad, but so was the ball bearing that sits on top of the mainshaft itself.

Depending on how many miles your clutch has on it, you may want to replace that too. Mine had 80K on it, so I left it alone. My throwout bearing was fine so I left that alone too. Like he said above replacing the seals is a good idea, and they are very inexpensive. The other two seals are at the differential.

I just did mine yesterday morning. The outer countershaft bearing was bad also. (very unusual) Also had a broken 1-2 shift fork that explained my occasional 2nd gear grind. Luckily I brought some spare parts with me. (the trans I blew the diff out of a few years ago)
