Does anyone have any writeup or place to buy the parts to attempt this ? And im not looking for the answer just go buy a new one, this is just something different i wanted to try and do.

 

honda does not offer any parts for rebuilds. You can buy rebuilt starters and alternators but not individual parts

 

what im saying is not using honda parts im sure companies make parts that should fit it

To the OP - since you live in PA here is a list of electrical rebuilders in PA. They can rebuild your starter or alternator for you, OR you can buy the parts from them and DO IT YOURSELF.
