weird buzzing noise
i just filled up today and put in some prestone fuel system cleaner this morning, and a few hours ago (probably 7 or 8 o'clock) i went out to the store w/ a buddy and my engine was making a really weird high pitched kinda buzzing noise between 1750 and 2k. revving up it grew louder gradually then after 2k it just stopped... i popped the hood and had my buddy gas it and maintain about 2k and it sounded like it was coming from the belt side of the engine... i did some engine work last week trying to get my car running again while i was still troubleshooting but my car's been running for a few days now and it hadn't happened until just a little while ago... but then after a while it stopped. so i'm thinking it's got something to do w/ the cleaner, my accessory belts are too loose, or the engine was just warming up. any suggestions??? if it matters it's an EK ex, stock D16Y8. thanks
still doing it, guys.... i rechecked my timing, and that's still lined up... but last night it was actually buzzing between like 2k and 2500. not sure if any of this is something i should be concerned about = / any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
i haven't touched the alternator, but whatever, haha suggestions are welcome, like i said...
if it's either of the two how would i go about working that out??? o.O
btw thanks for the input = )
