his first tune was about 350, I think they just leaned it out and tuned the ignition more aggressively, Turbo I think is just a basica t3/4 not sure the trim but I will find out if it is essential.

My build Im doing right now Im shooting for 400 WHP max after sleeving and around 240-70 Pre sleeve on an ac compatible fullrace mani or love fab mani with a gt28 or similar
oh 1.8 GSR stock bottom untill sleeve, then come pauters and arias or something that will hold the power for a few years with no prob.
Top end = stock untill sleeve then comes PNP, Im guessing rc 550 injectors trying to keep them as small as possible to maintain a good mileage & idle

Edit, car making 400 is a 99-00 SI with traction bars tein edfc, solid hasport mounts, no PS or ac and built to the nuts......

Also what compression is he running? bigger turbo + higher compression = good hp #

what relevance does that have to do with why hes making 400? you need to find out his turbo specs.. ask him what kind of cams he is running, what size downpipe/exaust, cr..
i doubt hes making 400whp on 10lbs with a t3/t4.

if its really 400 whp at 10 psi then that's gotta be some huge turbo, definitely not a t3/t4.

u can make 400whp on 10 lbs. why is that so hard to believe. if u have the right combo u can make that power easily. in my 1.8L LS/VTEC im making close to 370whp on 10 psi on a GT3582R. if my motor was sleeved out to a 2.0 it would be close to if not 400whp. anything is possible!

My car made 340whp, 81mm gsr with GT35E on 10psi. Bigger motor and turbo Im sure could hit 400.

no you are wrong buddy, Its not a huge turbo, its equivalent to a gt35 or smaller, his setup is just matched correctly,
he is running stock gsr cams

your friend is either a moron, pulling your leg, or has a turbo that is WAY to big for his setup...

if he has a fully built sleeved block etc.. why waste the money and have it tuned on 10psi?

Its a DD and he wants it reliable, 400 WHP on pump is not bad.

oil squirters are not going to make or break his hp rating, if hes 2.0 liter like you said, it doesnt matter what his bore is or his sleeves. You need to be asking about the power adders, like sizing of turbo, compression, cams(like you said gsr), yada yada.

Mia in Utah had a stock GSR, Full-Race Ram horn, PT61, back door intercooler, making 405hp on 10 psi... It's not that hard to do. remember this was a STOCK GSR block and head. 4294's on 10psi are making close to or over 500hp. It all depends on how efficient the turbo setup is.

Haha no one said they were jealous, and if he wants a reliable daily that actually has a nice power band he would have used a smaller turbo to hit it.

Just get him to come one here and post so people stop tooting their horn about their power lol</TD></TR></TABLE>

powerband &gt; peak hp numbers

that's why i have the setup i do....i want a fun street car, and dont want the ridiculous 500+whp setups that some people have...i'm sure its fun for a drag car, but since i need my GSR as a DD too, i'm going to keep it streetable....

dyno graph? I'd like to see this also.

everybody keeps saying that it's possible to break the 400whp mark but thing is, they're using big turbos. this guy is claiming 400whp on 10psi on a t3/t4(specs?). usually they run out of breath breaking 450whp-500whp.
