Default Help!!! Car performance Fu#$ed...Added oil

Hey Guys, I need some help. I was topping up some oil in my car cuz it looked a little low but nothing serious. Now when I floor it ...the throttle stutters and it just doesn't go fast no more!!! I have an oil catch can...so If there is too much oil it should just flow through right?? The response sucks and it takes forever to accelerate. It goes into vtec but there is no speed there either. Is this because of the oil...or is this a separate problem altogether??? Also the car stalled for the first time during a start up too.

ANy Idea???????
Thanks!

have you checked it after you put it in... and if its to much then there will be a decrease in power. but nothin that has a long term effect.

...unless it was enough oil to blow a seal somewhere. Oil is a liquid and it will expand as it heats up.

Before you ruin something you shouldn't be flooring it anywhere. Diagnose the problem first.
