Pothole Disaster :(
Guys, I have a set of RS Limited Rims that I got for my 02 civic lx...and just minutes ago on the way home...i hit a pothole the size of the grand canyon and my front right rim bent really bad...and the aluminum lip was chipped really bad. These things ran me up at $1100 dollars. Is there any way I can fix this so that it won't look bad...and the chipping? All help appreciated.
$1100 aint that expensive for rims. try buying some Volk's or Work's
depends on how bad it is ? does it wobble? try to get a new rim from the city (its going to be tought but people have been able to make their town pay for a new one.

Its all abotu safety when it comes to rims man. If u bent it severly there is NO WAY you should try to salvage it, as it can lead to a serious accident next time.
If u would never buy a car that was written off and rebuilt, then dont do it with a rim.

$1100 with tyres.. $100 a good tyre means each rim would be $175 or $275 if it was for the rims alone..
I would just bite the bullet and try ad get a new wheel.. then be more carefull and cut back on the luxuries for a while
Wallmart / ASDA cola instead of pepsi.. 200 bottles and u have ur new wheel hehe
