in order to not make the HT gods angry, I have searched.
I am looking to put a GSR throttle body onto my z6 intake manifold.
what all needs to be done assuming the GSR TB is OBD-1, and same as OBD-2?
also, should I port match the intake mani?

 

the throttle body should bolt up. i was just putting an ls throttle body on my girfriends z6 the other day. and as long as the map sensor and the FITV are on the gsr throttle body, it will work just fine.

i dont really think port matching makes a difference if its a stock motor. although i dont know what you have done to your car.

 

not much is done to my motor, Intake and exhaust, VAFC, tuned, and FPR.
Is it worth the 30 bucks for the throttle body, will it make much of a difference?

 

it's a bigger diameter throttle body and if u port match it to ur intake manifold you'll get more velocity thus allowing better throttle response. you'll notice it more in the higher rpm range
