is the gasket on the IVAC on a B motor the same as on a D16

Gasket for what? Head gasket, TB gasket? Manifold gasket? Header/exhaust gasket?

I think you mean IACV....

Which gasket? They appear the same, but I'm the part numbers are different. Same for the IACV assembly as a whole.

Run yourself over to a Honda parts desk and pick up the right one. Close enough will leak, and your car will idle strange.
