Default Cold start up

I have an 02 accord 4 cylinder and everytime i do a cold start it has a hard time starting. Do you think it might be the alternator?

You could start with the battery. You should have at least 12.5 volts for a good start (You can buy a multitester for $10). How clean are the battery connections and how good are the cables?

How is the weight of oil -- does it suit your climate?

And the plugs, wires, distributor? Fuel filter and air filter?

Also consider the possibility of the starter.

If it cranks weakly, then battery, alternator, or starter are the likely suspects.

If it cranks strongly, but sputters, doesn't fire, or dies after starting, then you have other problems.

A better description of EXACTLY HOW it has a 'hard time' starting would really help out.
