Default Eg6 civic 92-5 maplight map light?

Hey I am looking to get the map light for the EG6 do I need to get the JDM headliners or get the map light that came in the EG6 someone told me that the “EG/EK have same type map light. The standard is the light gray version; the EK4 and EK9 have the dark gray map light. this map light type is also found in some other Hondas and fits just as well but has a two pin connector instead of the EG/EK standard 1p connector. The EG/EK type map light gets mass (-) through the mounting points with screws where as the 2p type gets it through wire.” Is it true that the EK maplight will also fit in the EG6

i think ive talked to you about this?

which map light are you looking for? there are two for eg6. gathers, and jdm optional map light.

if you just want to put a maplight (with no concern for proper look, you will have the light forward instead of in the middle) then yes the '98 civic ex maplight will work. i say '98 only because ive had a 98 ex and it will fit.

but you will have to cut your headliner, you will not be able to secure it tightly like the photo above because of the shape of the headliner and bracket positioning.

so you will have to cut the headliner and make sure its not too wide of a hole and let the maplight hang on the headliner.

eg6 optional map light. ive got a big head so the gathers one fits too low for my liking

Why be JDM and pay more money, when you can have a perfectly working maplight for less?

Where all that wasted grey space, there is a large black speaker grille that says Gathers.
