Default whats better and easier

ls turbo or gsr turbo...what would be the better motor to go turbo??? any experiences??? is boosting better on low compression or high compression??? in my ej1

I went GSR-T alot of people go LS-T. In the end its what you could afford.

Boost likes lower compression for higher boost.

vtec + higher c/r nets more power at lower boost. ls- would be cheaper if you boost on stock motor. if you plan on building then either one will be expensive.

a while back a shop took a stout ls turbo and dyno'd it. they then did a ls/vtec on the same motor and made 109 more hp. vtec ftw

about 3 years ago i knew this guy that was running b20/vtec then he tired b20/vtec turbo he said he liked the b20/vtec more...forgot the reason why but who knowss

I personally like LS/Turbo...not a high-reving motor, but very torquey. Vtec is definitely not as important as you think when you're boosted.

Exactly, it's all about the condition of the motor and tuning.

I agree. The LS will have more torque at any given rpm, but maybe not as much hp. I would rather have the torque IMO if I were boosted. I like the vtec of my motor, but torque rules in sport compact cars.
