Default D16y7 tranny is it hydro or cable??

I know it Noob question but i'm trying to get a clutch thats from a d16y8 tranny!!

a big way to know is the motor came out in 96 they stop using cable in 92 i think.

Does your car have 4 wheels? If you didn't know the answer, you could simply look, right?. Same principle applies with this question. It's right there hanging off the front of the transmission.

You could also look up the part numbers and compare at slhondaparts.com.

And read your VIN # - you have an EJ6, not an EK.

Are you about to replace the clutch in your hatchback?
