Quick question here guys...

What size speakers did you use as replacements? Front + Rear? Is there a certain depth for replacements? Any special info?

If im not mistaken, i replaced all 4 speakers with pioneer 6.5" speakers, specifically the Pioneer TS-A1671R. All 4 doors have the same depth and speaker bracket. BUT!!! if u are going to replace the speakers, do what i did: the stock speakers are actually held on by 2 tabs and a metal clip at the top and the speaker is built into the bracket. I had dremel remove the speaker from the housing so i can use the same speaker housing and wire harness for the new speakers. I did this because i didn't want to lose my mounting depth and i wasn't about 2 drill 4 holes in the sheet metal of the car. It's kind of hard 2 explain but i might to a full writeup on it very soon if i get enough feedback and if people really want it.

 

I'd definitely like to see a write-up... for me and for the rest of us.
