Whenever I start my car it idles fine. I leave it alone still running and it idles fine. I rev it a little and the idle is still fine. But when I start to drive it for a little bit and I have to stop, say at a stop light or stop sign the idle flys up to 2,000. What can this be?

 

check your throttle cable mine was a little to tight and sticky and it sometimes would stay at a higher idle other than that check your idle adjustment

 

checked both. its really weird. Because only when I drive does it start to act like an ***
