eibach sportlines...any good?....
I have the opportunity to buy some used sportlines for a pretty good price, are these springs any good. I'm dead set on the koni yellows and was going to go (and still probably will go) with the h&r sport springs, until I found out about the eibach sportlines...... anyone here have sportlines? got any pics? also, the drop is techinically supposed to be 1.7" but in reality is it more? how is the ride quality,,etc.? isa it true that the back sags and drop is uneven? I got a 2000 teg. thanks for any feedback.

Eibach has made a name for thereself ..... they are QUALITY springs ... and my car rides on them beautifully ....the machine they use to make there springs is over a million dollars
i got the Eibach Pro springs 1.3" and i like it .. sure it can be a little lower ... but i got the big *** greddy EVo cannon on the *** end .. and a DC SS header that i already scrape from time to time
I personally would get the sportlines .... if your already convienced otherwise then next i would get Neuspeed
realize too ... the front of the car sits a little higher than the back ... .so for more of an aggressive look .. might want to get a set of springs that lower the front just slightly more than the back ....
yea .. its all personal prefference ... i love the lowered look ... i recently got 17x7z too with 205-40-17z and that helped the look a little more with no rub
i've had Eibach sportline and Koni Yellows for years and I like how they ride... I actually had the Koni's on the lowest spring perch when I first installed them and it looked nice when parked.. but I found it wasn't very driveable in my area (and potholes in LA) w/ all the speed bumps .. so I raised the spring perch back to the normal/stock settings on the Konis... I havent had any problems w/ the Eibachs in the 3+ years I've had them...

I've had eibach's on my other car and wasn't happy with them. I then bought h & r's and was very pleased. I just bought a set of h&r's for my 2001 GSR this morning and this saturday it's getting dropped!
I think 75% of your guys' replies are wrong.....I'm talking about eibach SPORTLINES and NOT PROKITS. Sportlines don't drop your car enough????? come on what are you nuts? sportlines slam your car more than h&r sports........prokits on the other hand give you that minor 1.3" drop but I wasn't asking about prokits, I was asking about sportlines......
Sportlines are a 1.7 drop all around. And for some reason the front sits a little higher or has the illusion of sitting higher, this is why alot of manurfacturs make there drop a little lower in the front..My friend has H&r that are 1.75 back and 2.0 in the front and his car looks alot lower and has that real nice stance. Its all a matter of opionion.

I was talkin about Eibach Sportlines had them for over 3 yrs.. like I said it looked great parked.. but wasnt very driveable.. w/ my Konis on the lowest perch setting it was too low for me to drive around w/o scraping either the front end, the muffler or tip, or mudguards... I couldn't get up my own driveway and it would scrape on speed bumps no matter what angle I approached them at driving all slow.. I ended up putting the Konis back on the stock perch settings.. its still pretty low but at least I can park in the garage now...
had sportlines on my GSR sedan for 2 years.
love them.
Actually the only other spring I would choose is a Ground Control coilover sleeve kit (I have those on my EG).
Sportlines drop is FUNCTIONAL, that is why the front looks higher, so you dont rub or slam your **** on the fenders.

If you look close it will look slightly higher, and if your riding with like 2 people in the car it will sit higher,or a full tank and 1 person.Just IMO.There top notch springs,1 of the best you can buy,but if your looking for that slammed look there not it.There close but with 50 series tires I have a little more than an inch all around in the wheel wells.I don't want them tucked in the wheel well, just up to the wheel well.Plus looking at my friends drop,I think it looks a little better with about a 1/4 inch lower in the front,it gives the car a nice stance and looks real sporty.(not like some old hot rod just a little lower).

this is the way i see it. If you are going to spend 200 bucks on springs, you might as well spend an extra 100 bucks and get some ground control coilovers. I hear nothing but good reviews from them. This way you can totally adjust the height of your ride. Plus you can order custom spring rates. I have sportlines now and i agree, the front does sit a little higher. Im geting a new car in september, and i am definitely going koni yellow/ground controls. Just my 2 cents .... later

with my Eibach Pro springs it is a little higher in the front .... i thought it was higher in the front stock.... interesting if they were really designed that way
i agree with 94acurals .. i hear good things about the GC coilovers and you could tailor the height to your taste ...front and back ...
BUTTTT if i had a deal on some sportlines .. id still get those i dont need to drop my **** any lower or im gonna break some **** (;
I havent seen or riden in a G3 with sportlines that I liked from the looks or handling perspective, redlinegsr just got the Tokico springs for his car and on 17 inch rims they lower it perfectly front and rear, plus they are the smoothest riding lowering springs ive ever felt and on top of that the handling characteristics were improved dramatically.
Personally, I am happy with the sportlines' drop. It allow me to get in and out of driveways. If you want your car slammed, then get a different spring. If you are concerned about honda's decision to not make the wheel wells symetrical front to rear, get another spring. If you are looking for a high quality spring, that will be fairly easy on your shocks go for the Eibachs.
