QUICK ? ABOUT TRANNY FLUID CHANGE (I SEARCHED)
Ok i need to change my fluid, my tranny grinds in third sometimes and the tranny is pitch black in color not normal. One question what fluid should i use between the GM syncron mesh thing or the honda one but i dont now withch one to pick the GM cost me about 8buks a 1/4 and do i buy synthetic nor non-synthetic and if i choose the Honda one , witch one should i buy . Another ? is how many 1/4's on a 94 acura integra Rs 5-speed. Your help will truely be appreciated thanx a lot.
should take about 2 qts. and no theres no tranny filter. u might want to go with a heavy weight. that usually helps out with minor grindings.

There is no choice between synthetic or non. You either get Honda MTF and dump it in, or get GM Synchromesh Friction Modified and dump it in.
My tranny has 247K miles on it, using GM SM FM the past 100K miles and has no grinds whatsoever.

wow. i dont think you should be doing this. THAT RESERVOIR NEXT TO YOUR BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER IS YOUR CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER. THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR TRANNY. Get some Redline MTL tranny fluid, get a fluid pump thingy (so you can extract the fluid from the bottle and pump it into the tranny via fill hole. ) and call it a day.
just read this and dont destoy anything else

if you already drained your clutch fluid then you can refill it with dot 3 brake fluid.
