Default Problem shifting on new tsudo cat back

I bought a tsudo cat back a while back and put it on the other night. I have a B&M short shifter dual bent and it bangs againist the exhaust. It's hard as hell to shift and very stiff. What do i need to do to get rid of this problem? Shifting from 1st to 2nd and 3rd isnt that problem. It's just going down to 4th gear, 5th, and R is a bitch! any help?

looking at your sn i'm guessing you have a da, right? well i got the same short shifter, and the problem i had was it scraping against the heat shield, after i took that off it was fine.

but if it's you're actual cat back, i've heard of people taking off one of the hangers so your piping will sit alittle lower. i've never done this, i have a hks hi power and the only problem i had was the heat shield.

My brother had this same problem with his Tsudo exhaust. We had to cut the hanger so it would fit right. eventually I put the stock shifter back in.

Did you put the stock shifter back in because messing around with the hanger still didnt do the trick? if i got a different short shifter un dual bent would that make a difference?

i had the same problem with my skunk2 dual bend shifter and apexi n1 cat-back. i went to a muffler shop and shorten my catalytic converter a little and now it's perfect. no more rough shifting.. i got a 4dr gsr though.

With my DA and a short shifter and a HKS exhaust my shifter scraped even with the heat shield off. However, my shifter was a cheap ebay one.
