is that why my 94-95 ex wheels look 'tucked' in when lowered? if i get si wheels, will the wheel be flush with my fender...i like this look better but i dont really like si wheels. what do spacers do?

prelude si wheels will look tucked, too. i have si wheels for winter, and they look really tucked compared to my 17s.

no they will not be flush with the fender, its not enough wheel

i have calculated that for my next set of wheels i might want 16x7.5,8" +40 rear, +42 front

Spacers go between the hub and wheel and move the wheel out.

WASSAA razor!

yes u can do that, it'd look pretty good, if ur gonna go with spacers i'd get longer studs, because then they are a lil weaker when bolted up to the rotor, longer studs will do better, i would just get Si wheels.
