Woke up at 5 a.m. to go to work and my car was gone. If anyone lives in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, please keep a look out for a black 98 GSR turbo. Body is stock, has military stickers, crack in the front bumper on the right side corner, with the licesnse plate JVA-5604. Already called the cops but I would like to get ahold of whoever took my car, even though they more than likely won't be caught. Just put the turbo on in October and had it running really good.

 

how easy was it for the thieves to steal aka security?

I hope I get it back also. Right now I've got a rental car. A brand new ford fusion. This thing is boring to drive and slow which makes me miss my car even more. I love the new car smell and the amount of room in it but it just doesn't beat the fun of driving my car.

Hmm... another one gone. Pixs would help alot. My Gs-R got raped dec 06 also. Seriously I love and hate Integras at the same time. I'm just waiting till someone steals or crash into my 98 GS and I'm calling it quit on Tegs. I'm gona go get something else. I hate investing half my money just on security alone. And on top of that, fear. Fear of it being anywhere. Well hope you Teg comes back in one peice.

will do man. sorry to hear about your loss. i go to school at virginia wesleyan so i'm around the norfolk va beach area... i'll keep an eye out next time i'm at the car wash I go to (not to generalize, but there are some pretty sketchy people with integras that frequent the area).

 

I don't have any pics to show the distinguishing features, like the two parallel cuts in the right side corner of the front bumper.

 

Not, right side, but the cuts are on the left side, but you can actually see it in the first pic. The cuts are right on the part of the bumper that says "integra".

 

this is a lil too close to home.

Have you met anyone lately? new "friends" or anything? I'm always so paranoid about my car that I can't sleep at night.

I'm curious too. Info like this can help prevent other Integra owners from having the same thing happen to them.

Sorry about your loss, man. Everyone else...invest in a good security system! I bought a Clifford Matrix RS3.5 remote start and alarm system for only $450...and it's saved me a couple of times. They come with a 2-way pager remote...and if anyone even touches my car my remote beeps at me and it shows on the little lcd screen where my car was touched. The remote works like 1/4 mile away if you're outside in the clear to start the car or arm/disarm the alarm. Just saying...it doesn't cost much to ensure that someone won't mess with your ****.

Hopefully you had full coverage insurance with extra coverage for the work you did to it, right??

 

ah we found my buddies car, it was completely stripped, the police found the body parts and rims in a near by shop and are currently trying to find the owner of the shop but no luck so far... as for the almost fully built n turboed engine.. still MIA...
