JDM motor, what should be changed?
I just got a 99' JDM B20B and I was wondering if someone could give me a complete list of everything that should be changed out or checked on this motor before I swap it into my DA. I dont want to put this motor in only to have to replace something 6 months from now, so anything that could be a problem in the near future I want either replaced or checked. I know to do things like belts and stuff but how far should I go? This is my daily driver car that I put about 150-200 miles a day, 5 days a week on so it needs to be reliable and ready to get lots of miles thrown on it.
hahaha... no its around 90$ a week for gas, 3 tanks a week and it cost me around 30$ to fill up. Plus my work pays me for a hour of drive time a day and my hourly wage is 15.75$, so really I doubt I spend more than 20$ a week on gas. And that includes all my driving, not just work related.
But as you can see it will get lots of miles put on the motor so I just want to make sure it should be trouble free for a while.

So basically do a full rebuild minus bearings? Yeah, probably not going that far. If I wanted to rip my motor down to the replace every damn seal I would of just rebuilt my old motor.
I should of said what can I replace without pulling the head off the block.
