My Steering Wheel is not centered, how can I fix it?

Default My Steering Wheel is not centered, how can I fix it?

Hey guys,

I'm wondering how I could get my steering wheel to be centered. its tilted. I just got the alignment done so the alignment is aight. now how can I fix the steering wheel and get it centered? I dont wanna take it back to the place i got my alignment done cos they might charge me. I'd really like some how-to's here...thanx!

You could always remove the steering wheel, and re-attach it. I think there's a DIY removal on civicforums.com.

disconnect your battery for 10mins, then disconnect the wiring to the airbag. it's a lot of work for something so small.

yes, you have to remove your airbag and steering wheel, and move it a notch to make it sit straight.

I say take it back to the shop and tell them to fix it. How long ago did you get your alignment? Most places warranty their alignment like 1 month or 3000 miles or something like that.

take that **** back to where you got your alignment done ,, they should of atleast told you that the steering wheel is messed. but take it back cause from recent experiences theirs places that dont even touch your car for an alignment
