u basically want a type r motor and u wont have 2 get bigger injectors or a new clutch unless u need a clutch. it would help to get some 310 rc injectors and a stage 2 clutch, adj cam gears and a good tune and u will be ok

I think he's talking about building a motor NOT buying an ITR swap

pump gas is fine with 11:1 compression. you just need a good tune.

injector size is dictated by hp levels. stock injectors are good for 180-190whp but at a pretty high duty cycle. 310cc's would be more than enough if you feel like upgrading.

is tuning required? wnt i need a stage clutch and cam gears along with the bigger injectors? and if tuning is reguired can i send my ecu off for the tuning or do i have to take my car in for the tuning? if i went with 10.1:1 pistons and mild cams would tuning be required?

tuning is always required imo when you start messing with things like compression and cams if you want the most out of them and want things to run safely and reliably. the best way to do this is the get a socketed and chipped ecu tuned on a dyno.

so could i like send in my ecu and included the specs of the pistons and cams and size injectors and type of clutch and the tuning shop socketed it and chip it based on the specs i send them?

you can do that and get a basemap burned but that should only be used to get you started so you can get the car to a dyno for fine tuning

http://www.evans-tuning.com if you're close to them. even if you're not, he's one of the best tuners in the country and worth the drive.
