I just picked these up recently but i didn't think much about rim choice before buying them. I really like the fact that the tire is roughly 24" tall, 8" and 5" sidewall, but According to tirerack the tires need a minimum 6" wide wheel. I can't seem to find anything local in a 6" wheel without spending too much money.

Orignally i was gonna just mount them on some steelies, which are 5.5" wide.

anyone see a problem with me mounting them on 5.5" wide steel wheels?

I wonder why more people don't use this size? it seem most either use the 205/50/14 or jump right to the 225/50/15.

 

they'll be fine, i had the same tire on a set of del sol wheels which are 5 or 5.5" wide
