will a 205/55/16 tires 16 inch rims look weird in a hatchback?
what year hatch?
cause thats WAY too big for ef/eg/ek/dc models, an inch and a half taller height than the biggest of the ones I listed. aside from looking like truck tires, your speedo and odometer will read incorrectly and you will have between 6 and 10% taller gearing depending on the year (assuming you are referrign to <2001 cars... 2001 and newer I dont know the stock sizes for so I cant offer an educated comparison)

if you have an ep hatch like 2005 type then yes, that would be the correct size.
otherwise 205/40 or 205/45 would be the correct size depending on year and trim of hatch.

it would not only look beefy, your car will not perform properly. use the right size. may be you can sell those tires and use the money to buy new ones.
