Default ctr pistons in b18b...oversize headgasket...

well i bought a ls block with ctr pistons and im thinking of using it...only thing is i know pct pistons in a ls with b16 head shoots cpr way up in the 13's i think...pretty sure...now my question is to get cpr in a more safe and streetable zone say 12.5 maybe even 12.1 how oversize would the headgasket have to be...i was trying to get all specs to calcualate myself but it seems people have alot of confusion and i know the cpr calculators are wrong...if someone could give me the specs i can calculate on my own if not is someone wants to help me out lol and hook me up that would be nice too...thanks guy...alex

My C5 PCT .25 over block is super reliable! And you should be around 12:5 compression w/ the ls short blockk, just run an oem 3 layer head gasket.
