so i got my h22 swap started and it has an eratic idle. but if you put your finger over the hole in the trottle body it runs normal. so i want to just remove the cold start valve. The problem is it wont stay running when cold, without the valve. (weird!) how can i fix this?

 

Try removing the fast idle valve and the 2 little screws on the back of it, under the plate there is a screw that you'll need to tight. There's a special tool for that screw but you should be able to tight it with longnose pliers or screwdriver.

 

fast idle valve? sorry but i can think off the top of head what that is, or if i still have it. (i have a skunk2 manifold).
