Do either the eg or ek hatch have power windows? Iv seen many pics of different models but i dont think i have every seen power windows. Can someone shed some light on this for me please?

the only eg that comes stock with power windows are 92-95 ex, si. otherwise it was put in. never came stock.

 

how hard are these bad johnsons to find?

 

Not really hard to find... go to the classifieds and look around, or do a search.

 

sorry to tell you but no hatch before 03 i believe, ever came with power windows. not even the si (i have had 3). the only way to get them to have power windows is to put them in, and it sux. i have done it once and am going to do it again in a few weeks. i am gathering parts right now
it sucks to do........but its sooooo worth it.

 

The only 1992-1995 hatchbacks I've ever encountered that had power windows that were supposed to have come stock were some SiR hatchbacks out of Japan, but they are not very common.

You can swap power windows and locks in from a 1993-1995 Civic Ex coupe (Canadian coupe Si). There are several write-ups on the subject. Check the FAQ if it's of interest to you.
