help installing system/subs in 07 civic stock head
hey guys a friend wants me to put her subs and amp and all in her car, ive installed tons of systems in older cars so i wasnt as worried but i dont want to break any dash paneling etc.. trying to get to the back of it. also all the ones i installed were aftermkt head units, rca cables... remote wire, battery, pretty easy.
just dont wanna mess anything up, anyone know of a good write up, or can tell me what all i need

well to get to the cd player i would start with the picture shown below: the numbers are the pannels that I THINK you would need to take off. i have not seen an 07 in person so I dont know for sure...it just looks similar to my civic and the way i had to take off my dash piece. tho, if you are worried about breaking pieces, i would have a shop do it.
sine its a stock system(probably doesnt have RCA outputs) you will need a line level output converter to convert the speaker's high-output to the RCA level output.

but personally, if i were you i would get a shop to do it

Go to 8thcivic.com there area ton of right ups on how to use aftermarket amp and components with the stock system. It also depends on what stereo she has in it cause if it is the premium system then there isa little harness that bypasses the stock amp.
