So my friend's dad tried to replace a burnt out brake light bulb last night and ended up busting the bulb and mangling the bulb housing (that comes off of the wiring harness)... After doing this, when she started the car, the taillights and dash lights didn't work.

I figured it was just a blown fuse or something.. I've been through each fuse box (one under dash and one in engine) twice now with no luck of finding a fuse that would relate to the taillights or dash lights. Any one have any ideas?

 

Check the small light fuse under the hood. That should be your problem, i had dealing with the tail lights and dash lights gave me some hell of nightmare's.

 

did he actually replace the bulb?
